1. Who we are

2. Information we process

• On-device app data — calculator state, selected currencies, salary/budget, pay period, spending entries, export entitlement flags, and similar preferences stored locally on your device (for example via on-device storage). This data stays on your device unless you enable Cloud Backup.
• Optional account (Cloud Backup) — if you choose Cloud Backup, you can sign in with Google through Supabase Auth. We receive your account identifiers from Google/Supabase (such as user id and email associated with that sign-in) so we can sync your backup.
• Cloud backup content — when Cloud Backup is enabled, spending entries and spending periods you create may be stored on our backend (Supabase) and linked to your signed-in user id. Fields can include amounts, currencies, dates/times, titles, categories, notes, and period settings.
• Purchases — Lifetime Export Pass and Cloud Backup subscriptions are processed by the platform billing system (Google Play). We receive purchase/entitlement status needed to unlock features; we do not receive your full payment card details.
• Advertising — the free experience may show ads via Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may collect device and advertising identifiers and usage data under Google’s policies to serve and measure ads.
• Diagnostics / support — if you email us, we process the content of your message and any account details you include so we can help you.

3. How we use information

• To provide calculator, currency conversion, spending tracking, export, and Cloud Backup features.
• To authenticate optional Cloud Backup sign-in and sync your data across devices you use with the same account.
• To unlock paid features you purchase.
• To show ads in the free experience (where enabled).
• To respond to support and account/data deletion requests.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers for their services:

• Supabase — authentication and cloud database for optional Cloud Backup.
• Google — Google Sign-In (when you choose it), Google Play Billing, and Google Mobile Ads / AdMob.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Retention

• Local data remains on your device until you clear app storage, uninstall the app, or otherwise delete it on-device.
• Cloud Backup data is retained while your Cloud Backup account/data exists, or until you request deletion.
• Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records.

6. Your choices and deletion

• You can use RatePocket without creating an account.
• You can sign out of Cloud Backup in the app; local data remains on the device.
• You can request deletion of your Cloud Backup account and associated cloud data. See our Account & data deletion page, or email support.tradali@gmail.com.
• Uninstalling the app removes local on-device app data from that device (subject to your OS behavior).

7. Children

RatePocket is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International processing

Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards provided by those providers.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
