Use this page to request deletion of your RatePocket Cloud Backup account and associated cloud data. This page is provided for Google Play’s account deletion / data deletion requirements and for anyone who signed in for Cloud Backup.
What RatePocket accounts are
RatePocket does not use a separate email/password signup. An account is created only if you enable Cloud Backup and complete Google Sign-In (via Supabase). Core calculator, converter, and local spending tracking work without an account.
What gets deleted when you request account deletion
- Your Cloud Backup authentication account associated with RatePocket (Google/Supabase sign-in for this app).
- Cloud-stored spending entries and spending periods linked to that account on our backend.
We will delete this associated user data after verifying your request. Freezing an account is not used as a substitute for deletion.
What is not removed automatically by a cloud deletion request
- Local data on your phone (spends, salary/period settings, preferences) remains until you clear app storage or uninstall RatePocket.
- Google Play purchase records may be retained by Google under Google Play policies. Entitlements are managed through Play Billing.
- Advertising / device identifiers processed by Google Mobile Ads are handled under Google’s ads systems; uninstalling and resetting advertising ID on your device are additional controls.
How to request deletion by email
Tap the button below to open an email to support.tradali@gmail.com with a pre-filled deletion request. Include the Google account email you used to sign in for Cloud Backup so we can locate your data.
What happens after you email us
- We verify the request (we may ask you to confirm ownership of the Google account used for Cloud Backup).
- We delete the associated RatePocket cloud account data from our systems.
- We reply to confirm completion. We aim to complete requests within 30 days (often sooner).
Local-only users (no Cloud Backup sign-in)
If you never signed in, there is no cloud account to delete. To remove local RatePocket data from a device, clear the app’s storage in Android settings or uninstall the app.
In the app
You can sign out of Cloud Backup from RatePocket settings. Sign-out keeps local data on the device and stops sync for that session. For full cloud account deletion, use the email request on this page.
